51 Interiors is a London-based design studio founded by Niki Ilic and Luke Towner, working across residential and hospitality interiors. The studio brings together two complementary perspectives: a strong sensitivity to atmosphere, materiality and detail, alongside an architectural understanding of space, structure and delivery. The result is an approach that is both intuitive and grounded, where ideas are shaped creatively but understood technically from the outset.
Our work is informed by a shared interest in spaces that unfold gradually and feel deeply considered, balancing mood, function and a sense of permanence. Niki’s background in high-end hospitality and luxury interiors has shaped the studio’s eye for flow, finishes and the details that give a space its character, while Luke’s architectural training and experience leading projects brings technical rigour and build knowledge to the process. Together, this creates a more holistic way of working, where design decisions are resolved with both feeling and feasibility in mind.
We are drawn to interiors that feel layered, timeless and quietly distinctive rather than tied to any one style or trend. Each project is approached on its own terms, responding to the client, the architecture and the atmosphere we want the space to hold.
